A1088 Thetford Road to Ixworth Thorpe Road Resurfacing June 2015

We received a flier today from Suffolk Highways which will be dropped to residents of Ixworth over the next week. We have included below with an attachment at the bottom of the post with the relevant contact details.

Suffolk Highways will be carrying out road resurfacing between the Church and Bardwell Road. The work is necessary to arrest further deterioration and improve the road surface.

We plan to commence works on site on 29 June 2015 and continue for up to 5 working nights. The road will be temporarily closed between 19:00 and 05:00 hours. The start date for the works may change because of delays caused by weather, but if a delay does occur, signs on site will indicate the new start date.

During the works access to properties and businesses will be available but controlled by staff on site. Please speak to one of our staff who will provide access as soon as it is safe to do so.

On street parking will not be available while these works are being carried out.

These temporary traffic management measures are required to allow the works to be carried out safely and in accordance with current health and safety guide lines. Access for emergency services will be maintained at all times.

We will do our best to minimise inconvenience and disruption during these works, but if you would like to cont act us, please email us enquiries@suffolkhighways.co.uk or phone us on 0345 606 6171.
